Хотя мы не заметили очевидного повышения цен на геллановую камедь в год 2019. С одной стороны, that’s because gellan gum market consumption didn’t grow too much and the dosage of gellan gum is very low; on the other, the Chinese and U.S. foreign exchange rate was on a high level of 7.1-7.2 for a very long time this year ; thirdly, some stocked goods caused by weak quality is affecting the marketing price.
Since Sep. из 2020, the most important raw material for gellan gum production : CORN price and the derived Glucose Powder price as well as white sugar price increased rapidly; so is for ethanol and IPA (isopropanol) price.
The foreign exchange rate has also dropped from 7.2 к 6.6.
All above factors caused quite big pressure of gellan gum price stability. With the weak quality stocks consumed and decreased, the gellan gum price would increase on the year of 2021 with 5% as could be seen.
We have already faced difficult supplyment of pea protein raw material, so the price for Pea Based Gellan Gum might increase more on the year of 2021.
